Note 1: 2013.11.13 — Norfolk Southern agreed to terms with CSX to install a double diamond at Crawford in 2014. This will ultimately allow the entire subdivision to be double-tracked from Callahan to Baldwin.
Note 2: 2013.11.13 — There are rumors that CSX is considering the restoration of the Gross subdivision (which used to be the Seaboard Air Line "Savannah main") continuing the Callahan sub northeast to Gross, FLA. However, the modern route would diverge well north of Callahan to take southbound traffic to Gross, then down the S-line into Jacksonville.
Note 3: 2015.07.13 — CSX is now double-tracked from Hague, GA on the Jesup subdivision all the way to Newnan, FL on the Wildwood subdivision. The S–line is renewed!
