The view of the track might be obstructed by foliage along some stretches, but that's just the way it goes. DRIVE SAFELY! Note 1: 2015.11.29 — The Airbase Industrial Track serves numerous customers over a sprawling area near Richmond Airport, including St. Laurent Packaging, Richmond Cold Storage, RockTenn, Cockrell Logistics, Stock Wood & Building Supply, J. M. Fry Printing Ginks, Weyerhauser.
Note 2: 2015.11.30 — In the late 2000s R Cabin was reconfigured from the old C&O days by combining Nicholson Street, Louisana Street, and R Cabin into a unified interlocking. The track arrangement is the same. This occurred about the same time that the entire stretch around Fulton Yard was resignaled so that both mains are controlled in both directions. During that project the interlocking at Scott Street to the James River industrial track and roundhouse were removed and the interlocking at Egypt was downgraded to a hand-throw switch off westbound track #2 into the yard.
Note 3: 2016.05.31 — The crossover switch from 1 to 2 westbound was removed and has been replaced; awaiting word on whether the speed across it has been increased above 10 mph. This is used as a crew change point as trains can stop without blocking crossings.
Note 4: 2024.05.17 — CSX put out a bulletin advising that the Amoco branch is out of service. This was expected as Plains America closed the facility.
